Wii Fit Plus Yoga, Strength and Core – 35 minutes

You know your yoga workout isn’t going quite as planned when your partner wets her pants, right? Well, that’s how my workout started today when I was doing it with my 3 year old daughter. I must admit, that Sun Salutation is pretty relaxing, though, so who can blame her? I guess she just got more relaxed than she’d intended. lol

I changed my trainer on the wii today to the guy. I’m not sure I’ll keep him, though. He reminds me of Bill and Ted for those of you who grew up in the 80’s and early 90’s.  Too surfer-boyish and I find that distracting – expecting him to say, “Woah, lady. That was a totally righteous downward dog, dudette!”

I did the push- up challenge (and lost that one right away), the warrior, which I love, standing knee (another favorite and really great for stretching out the hamstrings after a tough run), the gate (which I find challenging), set a new record for the half – moon, did downward dog several times and a few others.

It was a good workout. I need to keep this up to regain my flexibility again before the marathon.
