I was just looking over my training on daily mile. That site breaks up the weeks from Mon – Sun (which is different than I normally do since I use a regular calender for my “weekly” miles- so normally from Sun – Sat.) Anyways… in the last 9 weeks that I’ve recorded my workouts on daily mile, my average weekly mileage has been 34 miles! I’m so proud of myself! When the new year started I told Wayne I really wanted to work on keeping my weekly mileage at around 20 (which was a higher average than I had normally done before.) I’ve been very consistent. Since Jan 1st. I’ve hit 20+ miles for every week but two (one was a taper after the last ultra attempt and the other things were just really busy.)
Now for some really wonderful news!!!! Bertha and her sister and cousins finished their races! I was so happy to get back to the van after my run and see that she’d texted me about her finish time! She KICKED BUTT! She did her half marathon in 2:12 according to her Garmin! That’s her second best half ever! She did one two years ago in 2:11. I am SO PROUD of her!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GO BERTHA!!!!!!!!
