Here’s my splits from Saturday’s 20 miler. Maybe you guys can give me some advice after seeing how it looked. I used walk breaks of about 5 – 10 seconds at each mile except 9 and 14 where I felt good without one. The temps were this run started in the high 70’s and were low 90’s by the end. Race day will be an average of 40 – 65 by comparison. So…. after looking at this — do you think it’s reasonable to aim for the “goal” pace of 10:53 min/mile on race day or not?

20. 12:44 (very hot, walked with B about half a mile of this before jogging to the end)

Total time: 3:52:20 — Ave pace 11:37
